On April 13th 2012, the course of preserving paper materials, held in the cooporation between Wallonie-Bruxelle, Belgium and The Government of Vietnam, was closed in the meeting hall of the Vietnam National Museum of History after two weeks of hard working.

Following the activities in the cooperative program between the Wallonie-Bruxelles Region (Belgium) and the Vietnamese goverment in 2010-2012 about raising the professional activities of the Museum in preservation and restoration of Vietnam museums’ heritage. On April 3rd 2012 , the class which learns preservation of paper material was opened. It was hold from April 3rd 2012 to April thirteeth 2012.

On March 3rd 2012, at the Vietnam National Museum of History, No. 25 Tong Dan street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Club “I love history” in coordination with Kim Dong Primary school (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi) held an activity with the theme “Vietnamese women – Tradition and Modern”.

The Decision on establishment of The Vietnam National Museum of History, which was approved by the Prime Minister, in the base of merging two museums: The National Museum of Vietnamese History and The Museum of Vietnamese Revolution was announced to all officers and labours.
